Best Published Paper by a Trainee
Dear Trainees,
The next Annual Meeting of the Royal Belgian Society of Laboratory Medicine (RBSLM) will take place on November 15th, 2019. Please already pencil your agenda!
During this meeting, the RBSLM will be happy to propose a special prize for the best recently published paper by a trainee.
Any trainee that is member of the RBSLM and has published a paper between August 2018 and October 2019 can participate to win the prize. Articles in press (with proof of acceptance) are also welcome. The trainees that are allowed to participate should not have finished their traineeship before September 30th, 2019 and the work cannot be part of a PhD thesis to avoid competition with PhD training (the latter will however be allowed in a future alternate young investigators award of RBSLM). A submission for the prize does not preclude the submission of an abstract for poster presentation on the same subject.
We have also the pleasure to remind you that there will also be 3 prizes for the best abstracts submitted as posters. The accepted abstracts will be published online in a scientific Journal and all the prize winners will orally present their work during the meeting.
The application deadline for the best paper special prize is October 15th, 2019.
We already wish you good luck.
With kind regards,
Etienne Cavalier, on behalf of the Board of the RBSLM.
Guidelines
To apply for this prize, we ask each applicant to send us:
- The pdf of the published article;
- A short brief in which they describe where and when the work was prepared, who was guiding the work and when the paper was accepted for publication;
- A proof of acceptance in case of a press article.
Applications are now closed!
